Would have preferred proper stuck down lvt and it would have lasted longer but we couldn t bring ourselves to spend an extra 1000 on a different sort of fake.

Not saying you want a laminate look in your bathroom but they might have something you like. A cheap luxury vinyl starts at around 2 per square foot and can go as high as 7 but there are plenty of quality vinyl tiles available in the 3 to 4 range. I think it looks lovely and of very good quality. It looks like laminate but underfoot it feels like vinyl.

What about expansion our house gets extremely hot can you tell when it s expanded i e feel it when walking.

Easy installation installing laminate flooring is extremely easy with most laminate floors having a built in click system which eliminates the need for adhesive or nails. My dad has luxury vinyl flooring downstairs and in the bathrooms. However it won t be any easier than laminate to pull up if you need to get to floorboards etc as it s often glue sprayed down.
